"I originally joined Lizzie Dripping because I saw them dancing out and thought that I would like to do that".

Welcome to the website of Lizzie Dripping!
Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, all our practices and dance-outs are suspended until further notice. We WILL be back!
We are a women's dance team from Sheffield, England, offering a wide variety of dance styles as street entertainment and for performances at festivals and other events.
Our current repertoire, which continues to evolve, includes step dances, tap routines, team dances in the North West style and traditional dances from Scotland, the Isle of Man and Wales. Some dances are collected directly from the folk tradition, others are written and choreographed by team members, using traditional steps. We dance either in soft shoes or character tap shoes; we do not dance in clogs.
Our dances are complemented by unusual and interesting music performed by our small core of dedicated and experienced musicians.
We practice most Wednesday evenings at the Burton Street Foundation in Hillsborough, Sheffield.
